END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Licenses
When you buy a font, you are buying the non-exclusive licence to use it in a certain way.
At MTM we have decided to simplify as much as possible and offer only one type of commercial license based on the number of employees of the end user, which in short:
Covers any type of use (print, web, app,…).
Includes the complete family in various formats for use in different media.
It has perpetual duration, you only have to pay once.
Allows sharing fonts with suppliers (printers, designers, etc).
It does not allow its use by political parties without MTM’s written consent.
End user license agreement (EULA)
This End User License Agreement is a contract between you or your company (“End User” or “Licensee”), and Juan José López (ES08926377P) (“MTM”). This Agreement governs the terms of use of the Fonts purchased through mtm.madrid.
By downloading and/or installing the MTM Fonts, you agree to the terms of this End User License Agreement.
1. Use Rights:
By purchasing the license you acquire the non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual right to use our Fonts for personal or commercial purposes, in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
You may install the Fonts on any number of devices within your organisation. The size of such organisation will have been established when you purchased the licence and is described on your invoice.
You can use them in any type of media: print, web pages, apps, Ebooks,…
The cost of the Fonts is based on the number of employees working for the Licensee. Once the License is purchased, there is no need to change it if the number of employees changes.
Licensee may provide the Fonts to a graphic designer, printer or other service working on its behalf only if they agree to use the Fonts exclusively for Licensee, agree to the terms of this licence and do not retain any copies of the font software at the end of the work.
2. Restrictions on Use
You may not convert, modify or rename the original Font Software under any circumstances.
You may not distribute, rent, share or resell the Font Software to any third party or make the Font Software publicly available.
You may not modify the licensed Font Software with font editor software or create derivative works based on the licensed font without MTM’s prior written consent. You may alter the bezier outlines of the Licensed Font Software with design software such as Adobe Illustrator to customise it as a logo.
You may not create letterform products for resale where the product consists of individual letterforms, such as rubber stamps, where the likeness of the Licensed Fonts can be reproduced and the end user can create their own typesetting.
The Fonts may not be used for any racist, xenophobic, fascist, misogynistic, homophobic or transphobic purposes.
MTM Fonts may not be used by a political party without the express consent of MTM. Write to gerencia@mtm.madrid for permission.
3. Copyright:
By purchasing the Licence, the Licensee is not purchasing the copyright or intellectual property of the Font. The Licensed Fonts are the exclusive property of MTM and are protected by European Union copyright and intellectual property laws.
4. Warranties and Limitations:
MTM shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages (including damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information and the like) arising out of the use or inability to use the Fonts, even if MTM has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This Font may be returned or replaced within 21 days.
5. Trial License Specifications:
This license permits you to use the Font Software solely for trial purposes before committing to purchase a license for commercial use, such as customer presentations.
You may not use the Trial Fonts for commercial use.
