Type design is a long process, sometimes lasting years. At the beginning I’m very clear about why I started the project, but that spark that started it all is often forgotten after months of tedious refinement and production tasks.
I write these articles mainly to document why I started the project in the first place and to reconcile myself with the typefaces once they are finished.
